The Wildlife In Need Center (WINC), is excited to share that we have reopened and are once again accepting wildlife patients. Just in time for the spring and summer babies that have arrived. It has been a long and bumpy road over the past 18 months and we are thrilled to be back with a full staff and volunteers here at the Center. Meet our new animal care team!

Welcome Elisa Fosco Director of Animal Care Elisa has a B.S in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Illinois and has been a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator since 1987. She is a licensed Veterinarian Techician and holds a Wildlife Society Certification as a Professional Wildlife Biologist. Elisa has been the Director of Animal Care for the Ohio Wildlife Center, Walden’s Puddle, Wildlife Center of Greater Nashville, TN, Wildcare:Terwiliger Nature Education Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in San Rafael, CA, Rehabilitation Manager for the Toronto Wildlife Center and Field Biologist and Head Vet Tech for the Peregrine Fund Condor Project in Vermillion Cliffs, AZ. Lisa has also been an International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC) Skills Seminar Instructor for 14 years and has a passion for learning & teaching. Elisa enjoys camping, hiking, yoga, music and spending time with her dogs. Welcome Cherish Streit! Wildlife In Need Center’s Annual Plant Sale Fundraiser will help you get a jump on the planting season! Brighten up your yard, Attract birds and wildlife, SUPPORT the patients at the Wildlife In Need Center! You can do all three by participating in our Annual Plant Sale fundraiser! Choose from Marigolds, Impatiens, Petunias, and Coleus. Each flat, 48 plants total, is just $22! Imagine having a yard full of flowers and plants that will not only make your garden more appealing to your human neighbors, but to your wild neighbors as well!
