Wildlife In Need Center's Fiscal Year 2025-26 Admissions
Overview
From April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 the Wildlife In Need Center admitted 2,778 wildlife patients. The data represented below was taken from this period.
We cared for 2,778 animals, of that, 117 species from 100 cities across 17 counties in Wisconsin.
The Top 10 Cities we received animals from were Waukesha with 454 patients admitted, Ocnomowoc with 303 patients admitted, Brookfield (166), Mukwonago (130), Pewaukee (123), New Berlin (121), Watertown (112), Muskego (105), Hartland (86), and Menomonee Falls (69).
Of the 1,568 mammals in our care, there were 25 different species. Of the 865 birds in our care there were 75 different species, and of the 355 herptiles we had 17 different species.
