Joan has over 24 years experience in the
non-profit sector including development for organizations like the
Zoological Society of Milwaukee, the Ice Age Park and Trail
Foundation, and the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Her personal
commitment to wildlife preservation and environmental causes drew
her to the Wildlife In Need Center where she is excited to become a
part of furthering the mission of the Center. |

Lisa Rowe
Director of Operations

Lisa started with the Center as a volunteer in
1994. She holds a Wisconsin Advanced Wildlife Rehabilitation
License and specializes in the rehabilitation and care of rodents, with her
particular favorite being woodchucks. |

Cheryl Diehl

Cheryl started at the Center in 2007. She
has 26+ years of wildlife rehabilitation experience and holds a
Wisconsin Advanced Wildlife Rehabilitation License. She is
also a member of the Wisconsin DNR Wildlife Rehabilitation Advisory

Mandy Feavel

Mandy joined the Wildlife In Need Center from
the Wisconsin Humane Society in April of 2009. She has a B.S.
in Wildlife Ecology and Natural Resources from the University of
Wisconsin Madison. She has done field study in both
western Mexico and Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Mandy also works with
our newest educational ambassador, Raenah the Red-tailed Hawk, on
training for educational programs. |

Chelsea Matson
Wildlife Rehabilitator

Chelsea joined WINC in 2009
from the Wisconsin Humane Societies Wildlife
Rehabilitation Center.
She has a degree in Animal Science from the University of
Minnesota and experience with both domestic animals as well as
wildlife. She currently coordinates our wildlife release

Leslie Kiehl

After a number of years in the for-profit world,
Leslie became an animal care volunteer in 2001. She was soon recruited to help with
our newly fledged education program. She joined
our staff in 2005 and has done hundreds of education programs to
local school and community groups since.
